Christ on a bike, will these damn holidays never end? 7 weeks is way too long. They don't work in the fields anymore, they just bore the shit out me with endless rambling about PS3 games. And ruin my sleeping pattern so much I'm too flaming tired to exercise, write or look for work.

I actually put in a cover letter part of a convo about rocket propelled grenades. I'm surprised I haven't had police at my bloody door. (Yes, I sent it before I realised what I was doing)

No, I didn't get the job. They had more experienced applicants. Who probably don't want to blow up their offices.

Youtube's got legal anime. I'm working my way through Darker than Black. No, brain, you will not write Hei/Kirihara/Amber threesomes. We've got dairies to blow up. Terrorist cows. Gary Larson would be so proud.

I am the mission.
You're a mecha pilot!

You might be a sub-category of bishounen, but this hardly matters since you don't notice anything that didn't feature in the last edition of Guns'n'Ammo magazine. You have been trained since an unfeasibly early age to be a machine of death and destruction. If you've noticed an annoying girl following you around and repeatedly getting into danger and requiring rescue recently, run like hell - she's probably your love interest...

Which generic anime character are you?

It cracked my shit up.

And this was cute as a button. It's way better than the Disney version. I wish I could icon Eeyore looking at his ass.

4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
5. Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

Stand Alone Complex - not sure what I think of it after four eps. It seems rushed. And cold. I don't dislike anyone, but I'm not rooting for anyone either.

Love the opening theme though.

Bleach is sort of mental, innit?

Because none of you told me how awesome anime could be. I fucking loved Cowboy Bebop. Stewart's even trying to draw anime characters. I'm sitting glued to Witch Hunter Robin and Bleach.

Now, writing. I'm wondering if I should continue with the AU setting of the story or go with a more real world setting. Discussion welcome, because at the moment I could make either work, but I can't decide the direction.

After years of avoiding anime - the Japanese style of drawing everything like children creeps me out - I've had my interest piqued - that and I haven't seen the finale yet of SPN - I've decided to give it a wee go.

I'm already hiring Bleach, so what else would anime fans recommend? My only caveats are that drawing styles aside, characters shouldn't be child-like, unless they actually are children or evil brain-sucking fiends. And it should be suitable for a 13 year old to watch. (yes, it's all his fault. Bloody Pokemons and Digimons and Cardcaptor Sakura gave him a taste for it. And lets not miss out bloody Princess Monanaoke. he bloody loved that)
